BACHE

The British Association of Cleaning in Higher Education (BACHE) has announced its programme events for its annual conference to be held at the University of Surrey from 9th to 11th June. BACHE represents managers and supervisors engaged in the delivery of cleaning and support services in higher education.

The BACHE team have put together a varied programme with a mix of an exhibition, presentations and workshops for delegates. Workshop subject matter includes: graffiti and gum removal; outsourcing; getting the best from suppliers; portering and audits.

Following the eighteen year success of Britain’s Cleanest City Awards and the trial run of the new Clean Britain Awards - won in March 2007 by Birmingham City Council, planning is well underway for an extended Clean Britain Awards Scheme in 2008/2009.
