The BCC is taking a slot for the first time ever at the CIWM conference, starting today. Judith West, Chairman, Steve Wright, Deputy Chairman and Richard Chisnell, Clean Britain Awards` Director are presenting on our industry background, the future of cleaning, including a future partnership with the waste industry and growth potential of the Clean Britain Awards.
This is the Chartered Institution of Wastes Management (CIWM) 21st Torbay Conference and Exhibition. The CIWM 2007 conference is taking place from 12-15 June, running the length of Paignton`s seafront. The conference will be particularly attractive to those in council waste departments, facilities managers and recycling managers.
Ben Bradshaw MP, Minister of State (Local Environment, Marine and Animal Welfare) will open proceedings on Tuesday 12th and there will follow a series of workshops on waste, recycling, not forgetting a presentation from the BCC on cleaning.
